^ Yup. Otherwise, the last thing most of us needs is need less exercise :.) I could see it being useful for walking long distances on hard floors though. Would be useful in warehouses or places like the Sears HQ in Hoffman Estates, IL where it takes about 15 minutes to walk from the end of one wing to another. Feet and backs aren't meant for that kind of abuse. Though I also wonder what kind of postural problems riding one of these often might induce.

For disabled folks like myself, this would be great for Airport terminals, colleges, warehoue jobs, and for Mothers chasing active toddlers...lol Thanks for fixing the link Sweetie.. :}

That is pretty cool---leave it to the Japanese to come up with something of that nature. I am sure they will have in Japan soon if they don't already---then it will be available all over Asia then some places in Europe-we won't probably see it in most of America--other than maybe California, Hawaii and a few other places for like ten years or so!!

The best use I could see it for----to make your way around certain airports-----it would be nice to have those in many of the terminal wings at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport----like in the international terminal wings---you come in--they have no moving sidewalks and it is seems like that damn thing is about a mile long----and it never falis---I will come into the terminal from Mexico----then have to walk back to the start of the wing---where ya check in with customs--then re-check in for domestic flights---and walk back on a different level to another gate in the same wing!! It is not so bad when you can take the rail system around the place to other wings--but just walking within each wing is so damn long and tiring when you are carrying stuff.

One of those things would be nice.
