TwylaTwobits, allbimyself, Cherokee_Mountaincat, csrakate, Luffly1, Billys_gurl, darkeyes and Pasadenacpl support "no equal rights for all". Long Duck Dong is simply their leader. each exercises duplicity on the matter. they give him their unfaltering support in an attempt to help him sway those who are gullible. they also gang up on anyone who points out Long Duck Dong's duplicity and agenda in an effort to run them off and have control of the threads for the "no equal rights for all" agenda.

some others here simply stay out of it for fear of alienating themselves from those i've listed above. those people should speak up because none of them listed above are truely your friends and if you won't fight for your own rights then you do not deserve to get them.

those of you who do speak out against those who preach "no equal rights for all"... keep it up. they cannot ever shut us up and make us go away. one or more of us may get banned from an insignificant forum or chat room from time to time but they can never eradicate us from the Earth. thus, those of us who fight for what is right will always be a thorn in their sides and we will prevail in the end.

i'm not looking for replies to this so do not bother as i will not respond to them.

*

Drew, i simply fought for equal rights for all and i exposed those who are against us having them. if you want to ban me then go ahead but to do so would only put you in their camp.

I simply have one thing to say jeannie - everyone here has the right to say what they want as long as it does not violate the terms of agreement that you and everyone else here agreed to when we joined the site.

To say that the above mentioned support "no equal rights for all" is purely ludicrous. Are you off your meds or off your rocker?

Maybe that was more than one thing but what the hell - I don't care

If your so revved up to push for equal rights for everyone why don't you better apply your time and energy and do some activism instead of posting on a forum only read by trolls and bisexuals. Your childish post attacking people for their views on a website that few people outside the community will ever read does nothing to help the cause. Some of us don't typically respond to such bullshit because we are actually in the community, working to raise awareness, striving for the rights not granted to us by society. Flapping your lips (or clicking your keys) on here does nothing to move your cause forward. Try emailing your local congressman or senator your disgust with the situation. At the very least some assistant will be aware of your thoughts. Your outrage over a single event is lovely. Passion like that is what people need to make change. But passion means nothing if not applied correctly. Focus. Focus. Focus.

all I can say.... is the followers of this *leader * need to know that he has lost a lesbian sister to aids, has a lesbian niece with 2 awesome kids, is bisexual himself, and has the equal to fred phelps sister as a mother, but shes twice as bad as fred.... and your exalted leader also lives in with and cares for a elderly gay gentleman with no family......

the criteria for being a follower, is that we fight for rights for all, ( including the lgbt ).... ie if you are white and lgbt, and your sister is a person of color and hetero and your father is disabled and CD and your mother is mentally ill and intersex..... they all get our support, we need their support as much as they need ours.....
united we stand, divided we go to kfc, mcdonalds and to get the beers.... and miss all the fun.....

things like the KKK and the WBC, ignore them..... they are just loud mouths, blowing hot air.... but they lay one finger on us, the shovel I am leaning on, is not just for support..... and I have a big back yard.....

now unfortunately, we do attract fans.... and they are devoted to their cause..... just.... not sure what cause.... but they are devoted to it.... do not fight with them, its like trying to make friends with a rott weiler after you just took him to the vet and had his balls cut off..... and at the best of times.... they are like chihuahua... hanging around ya ankles barking and biting, but take heart in the fact that somebody loves them....
there is the criteria that our fans need to supply their own strait jackets and meds, we are rich with love for the human race and the lgbt, but..... money wise..... that goes on the lawyer and court costs......

hugs to all.... and good luck my followers...... btw... ahhhhh.... one question.... I may be your leader, but most of you are in the us.... so can you lot do all the fighting for rights over there, and the ones in the uk, need to do the same.... cos I am having trouble getting there to support you all.....

As the wife of a bisexual man, I wanted to know more about bisexuality so that I could better understand my husband and and what makes him tick. Five years ago I came to this site and I have learned so much. I learned that bisexuals weren't all that different from anyone else nor were they people to fear...they lived and breathed and went to work, drove their carpools and took out their garbage just like everyone else. I learned that some are kinky and some are vanilla, some prefer to play around and others prefer monogamy, some like bad jokes and others like classical music. I also found some wonderful people, bisexual, gay, straight and trans who welcomed me with open arms and who were willing to answer my silly questions. Most of all I found friends who have brought me joy and have offered me support and I began to feel at home here.

This is my family and I will be damned if I am going to allow a disgruntled individual to disrupt the harmony I have found at this site. I am sorry you don't like me, Jeannie...not much I can do about that...but I will not allow you to proclaim what you have about me. I follow no one....I have no agenda....and I don't support any agendas of some imagined covert group that Jeannie thinks is infiltrating this site. I am here to offer support and to enjoy some good company....nothing more and I will continue to do so.....

That being said...pass me those cookies and someone put my s'more on the fire! LOL!

Love,
Kate

Pass some rum this way, please. I am still trying to understand people. You know people can be so darn complex. It really leaves me boggled lots of times. As a bisexual guy I find it appropriate to just hmph and yell "People!" at times. Screw the battle of the sexes. Women are just as bad as men, who are just as bad as women. Really, why must we fling excrement all over?

I had fun installing a new water well switch box and pump gauge yesterday. It made me feel good that _I_ was _able_ to _do_ something and have it _work as expected_. Didn't need to put anybody else down. And today, Mom's well is now running only as needed to cycle the pressure back up. Yay me! :) Shoot, I bet everybody can find something like that to feel good about.

If you can't just feel good you're alive. It might seem hard but know you aren't alone.

Can people just let this thread die?

Frankly, I'm torn between wanting it to die, since it's so ridiculous, and wanting to keep it alive for a while, so people can see the mentality of the OP and what level she operates at.

On the other hand, that's not hard to read in several other forums...but this one gets to the point so directly! :tong:

I do not understand. I assumed that the little "party" we were having was simply to joke and lighten the mood. Do you think that we were talking about our e-party as a form oft celebration because we find it funny that Jeannie acted crazy? I can not speak for others, but I know that when I wanted to be involved in this party, it was most certainly not for that reason :(

Yes it is sad that Jeannie felt that she had to act as childishly as she did and call people out for things that don't even make sense (to anyone else here at least) but it happened. And for whatever reason she feels justified in her assumptions and making ridiculous public accusations, and nothing any of us say will change that.

So is there really anything wrong with people lightening the mood instead everyone beginning to insult and point fingers some more? If that happens, I'm pretty sure that things would get stupid and out of hand.

ROFLMAO, maybe it's because we responded to Cat's post about come join at the campfire. No one is rejoicing that Jeannie showed extremely poor judgement in an all out attack against people who dare to not agree with her. We are not responding further to her accusations in this thread because they are baseless and not worth us even doing anything more than hitting the report button.

The campfire began to grow as a result of love and friendship not in celebration of a person's demented status being clear and obvious, but because we realize that divided the entire fight for equal rights for all falls apart.

Interesting was something LDD stated to me earlier today in a voice convo "I stands for rights for all and if I saw Jeannie getting attacked on the street I'd wade in to help her no matter my feelings about her personally" Why would he do that? Because it is the way he is. He doesn't stand by and let someone be beaten because they are trans or gay or les and he doesn't stand by and let someone be beaten because they are white, black, or claiming to be from the planet Mars.

So saying that, there is room at the campfire for all, not a matter of choosing sides, not a matter of keeping prejudices alive, but a matter of being human.

Yes, it seems this party was called as an insult to jeannie. OMG, you people are no better than the Miss. school board and parents.

Her arguments and statements make perfect sense to me and I see what she sees. So, your bracketed statement above does not wholly apply.

Sorry, people, but I am standing on jeannie's side until your own behaviour improves and you can show me without a doubt jeannie is wrong in what she says. She may be off on her approach, but her truths are truths to me also.

Your party plans and comments related to that point exactly to what jeannie is saying. Go have your parrty and have fun. Laugh at us behind our backs. What a bunch of hypocrites!!!

The lighthearted mood was not intended to insult Jeannie but to show that we were trying to ignore some nasty comments thrown our way. It is obvious that the whole "party" angle evolved from a play on a comment made my Jeannie herself:

Drew, i simply fought for equal rights for all and i exposed those who are against us having them. if you want to ban me then go ahead but to do so would only put you in their camp.

It all started as a play on the whole "camp" and campfire thing. No dear...we are not throwing a party to insult Jeannie...we were just trying to make something fun out of the crock of shit she tried to start.

i'm not looking for replies to this so do not bother as i will not respond to them.

*

its truly ironic that this is the one thread recently that has no negativity apart from the opening post and the fact that it is jeannie's own which she says she won't respond to....

Since we are all sitting around this camp fire in the Carolinas (seems familiar...didn't Az come from hereabouts?) does anyone remember the old Star Trek episode where an entity captured Kirk and crew and thrived on their negative energy. Once they realised it they partied and had a laugh and the entity dissipated.

So pass me a beer and whatever local delicacies you suggest.... its more fun than the ignore button

Its getting to be Rhubarb season---time to start making my Strawberry-Rhubarb custard pies-----oooooo yummmy, yummy in yo's tummies!! :):tongue:

Now--if we were really gonna have a party like this---I'd either cook up a batch of my version of Red Rice and Shrimp---a sort of creole dish but with this version being popular in Savannah---or I could cook up a big pot of a very fave meal down in "The Low Country" of coastal Georgia and South Carolina---the dish is a version of a New England clam steam. The Low Country Boil starts with a big pot of water seasoned with beer, onions--preferably Vidalia onions, lots of Old Bay Seasoning---then ya cook chopped up red potatoes, some sort of cooked sausage, ears of corn and then at the last after the water is no longer boiling--- add lots of good local fresh shrimp or the best approximation thereof if not on or near the coast--then ya eat and enjoy!!

For those who aren't fond of seafood or cannot eat it (poor souls)---maybe I'd smoke up some beef brisket and Boston Butt pork--for chopped beef and pulled pork---with some good homemade BBQ sauce.

IF I couldn't find some moonshine someplace-----I'd at least get a few kegs of a good beer or several cases of some very good beer---and yes for those who diss our beers---you can get many great beers in the US both foreign and domestic---we have a much better beer industry than if you only thnk of beers from Anhueser-Bush, and MillerCoors.

ah...getting back to the OP topic, please?

I don't know which dispute caused this OP but several of the people mentioned are very frequent posters and that is all that I can see connecting them without knowing the details of a specific dispute. Some of them, I personally highly respect and don't understand the OP viewpoint at all? Even though I may have disagreed strongly with them, these posters have always written civily and for the most part been able to stay on the thread topic.

How this OP has been dealt with is confusing in some respects. Now, I may be completely wrong but to post all types of thoughts about food on this thread seems to be an attempt to dismiss and ridicule the OP's topic. It is like blaring white noise to drown out dissent and differing views.

It seems to me that if certain frequent posters disagree with an OP, they tend to do this silly style of postings. I'm not sure if it is to ridicule. Some of the posters mentioned tend to enter a thread and make some silly unrelated comment. I've never quite understood why. Sometimes, I think that they are attempting to reduce tension in what they see as a debate and the people posting are not being nice like "we" say that we are. They seem to be definitely off topic from my perspective. Some others may get sucked into distracting the thread unintentionally and join in the "fun" almost flirting comments. They are kind of innocent in my viewpoint. We can all go off topic innocently. Over all I see such constant frivolous off topic comments as offensive and disrespectful to an honest and open dialogue that may be on a topic that the people believe is important to them. In that respect, the OP has a point.

It is interesting how the threads change in their reading when you block some of these types of posters who emote and make fun of threads with their unrelated comments.

So you consider it an invitation for "open and honest dialogue" when Jeannie denounced a group of us as anti equal rights for all? Where's the dialogue in that? It's an accusation, and an unfounded one at that! I may not totally agree with the whole party aspect as a response, but come on.....by not falling for this bait of Jeannie's, these people were attempting to diffuse what could have been a horrible thread.

Sorry you see things this way, Tenni....but before you accuse others of being frivolous, try considering how Jeannie's statements may have affected those of us who were accused.

{QUOTE)

Jeannie made an accusation that was so ludicrous, so ridiculous, and so spiteful that the only proper response was to mock her and the accusation itself. There comes a point when the charges get wilder, and crazier and you realize that you have only one sane option: laughter.

Beautifull said, Pasa and Miss Kate..:} Three thumbs up.
What we're doin here Darlin is making light of a bad situation. Its gone on far too long and we are saying, more or less, that its time to put the bullshit and bickering away..its not needed anymore. A black cloud has hung over this group long enough and we old timers would like to get back to as it Used to be! The one way to do this is levity..fun..laughter..and a bit of silliness. We, I, they, are not knocking or mocking Jeannie, we are simply laughing away that damn black cloud. Those with only a need to keep shit rolling can go elsewhere if they dont like it. And as I have stated before, if a person doesnt understand, or like a thread, then they dont have to read it nor comment on it.
I personally am encourageing Everyone to come and join in, in some fun and silliness and get some life back into this group. I also encourage others to step up and join us, and bring some light and sunshine back into all of us.:}
So, either come join us and relax, get rid of the tension and make merry or feel free to dont. We rather have you with us and enjoying life than to not.:}

Oh, so sorry kate and Pasa.

No, I didn't understand that part and still don't. I don't know if I want to go there because I do not see either of you that way at all. I understand that it comes from another thread's discussion.

As I tried to write, I may be completely wrong but I do notice what looks like a strategy of posting off topic to distract away from the thread topic but this has never been used by either of you as far as I can recall. This off topic posting of what may be intentional to me as it is not the first time that I've noticed this on a thread. I may be wrong though. I did not understand why so many posts on this thread are about food and how that relates to the OP's views? I'm not inclined to support mocking another poster though even if they are way off base from my perspective. Although I understand that shock or emotions may take any of us there. I'm guilty in some ways myself but not proud if I have failed my own expectation. That is just my view though.

When the OP states at the end of their thread they don't expect a response and won't respond then as far as I'm concerned they have made a final statement in effect a 'so there'. So if almost everyone else decides to turn the negative vibe into a positive using a camp fire party metaphor then I applaud it as the OP has left the house. Too often lately, we find ourselves getting angry out of indignation and the whole thing turns into a negative loop. A good sense of humour saves lives and laughter is one of God's wonderful gifts to de-stress us.

Spring has sprung and I'm up for a party. Where to next Cat?

I find it funny that the people who want to get back to the 'OP' really seem to want to drag this into another one of those fight-threads of epic pointlessness that go on forever. The poster said her piece, then said that she won't reply. Okay, fine, she's had her say and that's all that matters; no discussion may follow. So they took the camp metaphor and ran with it. There are a lot of worse ways to deal with a thread started to call you out and talk about what a terrible person you are. If you don't like people having fun or want to start a fight, don't read. So easy.

What I find most amusing is that after the who camp thing was moved to a different thread to allow this one to get back to its original point, Bret LA tries to bring the drama to the new thread . . . after criticizing us for deviating from the point of *jeannie*s original thread he does the same. jeannie is entitled to her opinion, yes, I will give anyone that. Do I agree with her? Depends on the point. Unfortunately she often has weak arguements in my eyes, that is my opinion. As far as the people she calls out as not supporting equal rights, in my opinion that is an unfair generalization from someone who does not have an open enough mind to see things from any perspective other than their own. jeannie does have a perspective different than everyone else though. Every person on this site, in one way or another is looking for equal human rights. How they choose to pursue that is up to them. Their actions come from their perspective, as their perspective tells them what they need to move forward. Attacking each other is foolish. You do nothing but divide those who would otherwise stand beside you. All of us need to stop and consider that.

I understand perfectly what you mean. But you must understand sweetheart, the amount of credentials you present mean absolutely nothing to them because they are only getting joy in your frustrations. It's a game. And it's one you can never win because no matter what you say they will always be there to fight you whether their comments make sense or not. The more they say stupid things, and the more you get frustrated over those stupid things, the more points they get. Don't let them be the holder of the high score.

Sorry for the vulgar terminology, but its true.
Come have a cookie and some milk..:}

You're a horrible English teacher as your posts do not make any sense structurally or logically and it's scary that a bigots like you is a teacher.

Then again you are in Texas, are Conservative, and have lived most of your life in the closet so it's no surprise why you're a hypocrite and against GLBT rights despite being a GLBT person.

Bret, no offense but your a real ass......sorry, just what we observe.

A cookie....heck...give the man a drink and have him sit on down and join the PARTY. Heck I will send a ride to go get him. There will be a big horray when he arrives.

I guess we have someone who admitted to being a troll and soliciting the help of others from what I gather from that one post--but I could not read it all since the post is gone now----did anyone see and read that entire post???

If you have---can you please fill us in for those of us who didn't get to see the admission???

Thanks

I know you are just answering a request from someone Cat, but I don't think it's a very good idea to publish a list of names, albeit from a supposed post from someone making an admission. Drew deleted that post for a reason and we need to respect that. Also, listing those names once more is no better than what was done to some of us by "you know who"....it's all supposition and not fact and suggests less than positive things about the people who are listed.

We already have "no equal rights for all" because every 'individual' lost sovereignty in this country a long time ago. Only ignorance offers a pseudo point of contention.
