Stupidity in Hollywood scrutiny

Has anyone seen the article on the website Wonderwall? I am not savvy enough to put the link on here. Anyway, the article is about Shiloh Pitt-Jolie and how Angelina is bringing her own bisexuality out by giving Shiloh a pixie cut and letting her dress like a tomboy! The child is 3!!!! What is the big deal? If someone can post the link, its the stupidest article I have seen in a while. Brad said on Oprah that Shiloh is fascinated with Peter Pan and wants to be called John. So of course, they criticize him by wondering why he has never shown her the color pink, and why he LETS her be dressed this way. WTF? My dad never picked out my clothes when I was little.

I did see the artical and think it Might have been posted here a bit back. Kids are kids and if they want to dress a certain way and the folks dont have a prob with it, neither should the American public. I think the media is just looking for something to muck-rake and think they have something...borrrring.

I'd sure like to know where you got your info Q&L...might be interesting reading, or interesting to put on Snopes to see if there's any validity on it.

I think the whole plan for being a successful Hollywood actor is to keep your name in the tabloids. They're all media sluts and this is just another example. It shows how desperate they are when they start leaking stories about their children.

the celebrity cult is fed by the tabloids, in whatever form; the mantra is better bad/good talk, then no talk at all. that is when the actor needs to worry. it all ends up as another version of the chicken/egg argument, with one hand feeding the other as the other hand feeds the other.... blah, blah, blah!!!

for me, i dont read/watch that shit; i go to the flicks for the story; with the few director's/actor's that i like, i go to their flicks, but avoid the tabloid b.s.

i dont how many times out of town friends/the out of town friends of friends come to town, and are dying to see the actors, musicians etc. begging me to take them where they hang out, etc.; believe me, the westside of the city thrives on that crap, and i avoid that area like the plague; unfortunatley, business takes me there more than i care, and to be honest, some very good nightlife is available there as well, and dates/possible lovers like to be taken to good places, sooo.....

i stick to my side of town as much as possible, many fine places to enjoy with buddies/friends!

I didn't know I was going to set off such tirades. I don't give 2 hoot(er)s about Angelina or Brad. I was upset about the media picking on a child. That was my only point. I agree with most of what is being said about the GROWN-UPS! But for heavens sake, leave the little ones alone!

That crap she where Angelina was making out with her brother, she did many years ago---probably about a good 15 or so years back now. It was kinda creepy for sure.

I just kind of put it up to her goal of simply trying to garner some press with the notion that "any press is good press."

That is kind of true. But at the same time let's realize that the entertainment industry puts a level of pressure upon people that is hard to understand unless you are in industry. I'm not, but I've seen what can happen to people.

The proof of this is right under your nose. Just look at the magazines at a checkout stand. Look at the plastic surgery, the weight that goes up and down like a yoyo, the psychological dysfunction, the substance abuse. Very few stars can deal with the pressure. The ones who can stay away from LA as much as possible.

The basic pattern of Hollywood is to take an average person and build them up, then tear them down. It was even like that back in the 1920's.

The wise person walks away from the spotlight at their peak. Greta Garbo did it. So did Debra Winger. They just walked away.

I've seen pictures of Invisible Purple Unicorns fondling midgets on the net. Doesn't mean it's true. You can Photo-shop and transpose anything these days. Not saying it isn't true, just using a good rule of thumb. You can see or hear anything out in the world/s, but not all of it is real. You never know, either.

Yes, but a lot of these pictures were the ones taken at the time when they did it on TV. Can't photo shop tv, which is where most of us originally saw it haha.
