This website meets many and widely varied needs. Although, we each walk our own path, occasionally we are fortunate to connect with another. The connection may be for brief, wild abandonment to tease or satisfy...or perhaps, to find or reinforce abiding friendship, love or both. Regardless, the common thread is the use of words --words to bring laughter, tears, information, debate, sexual arousal or more. So I offer this post with the invitation for those who wish to share words that have somehow personally impacted them.
In celebration of love-making, I am reminded of an erotic poem by a person using the name, Moondance, that I enjoy. I hope that you will find pleasure in what I share with you...
Rain's Embrace
by Moondance
Cold, quiet rain gently falling
Yet the dampness we don't feel;
For our bodies are absorbed in each other
Hot as the heat from hell.
You lead me slowly into the woods
Place a quilt on the ground;
The noise of nature is all around us
Yet the beating of our hearts is the only sound.
Your kiss is gentle, yet demanding
My body arches to feel
The touch of your hand, the feel of you
Without resistance to you, I yield.
You taste the essence of my body
You bring more pleasure than I've known
I give myself to you completely
The quietness is disturbed by our groans.
You rise above me with a sudden urgency
Our needs are great, we both have found;
Our hearts pounding with anticipation
We become one, lying there on the ground.
Rain has never been more beautiful
As we lie together in each other's embrace;
The taste of you, the feel of nature
A beautiful moment - in my memory forever encased.

And here is one that I have written
Surrender
Slivers of moon powder dust the flora below.
In silhouette, on the edge of the balcony
I silently stand naked, filled with trepidation.
My alienation shatters like the tinkling sound
Of broken glass falling around my feet,
As I feel his presence quietly behind me.
So close that I feel the hairs on his body
Reach out to brush against mine.
Patiently he awaits; my breathing calms.
His arms coast around my hopeful waist,
Pulling me tight against his bed-warmed skin,
Arching his shoulders, forming a nest.
We snuggle on the edge of muted light,
As he shifts me toward his protective face,
Drawing my mouth, infused with passion.
The softness of closeness decimates tranquility,
Replacing earlier feelings with turbulence,
Growing with desire; our frames taut.
With effortless motion we return to bed,
As he lowers to attend to my pulsating rod.
Flourishing urges rise; my tension swells.
Impulsively grasping his muscled shoulders,
His concentration keenly on thrilling me.
He is intent; detonation is near.
Gently stroking his hair, I urge him to my lips,
With my tongue deep pressed against his,
In tight embrace, I fiercely explode.
Collapsed under the weight of his tenderness,
Fluids plainly flow across our smelted spirits.
Another open kiss; my tears gush.

Guess Jasper doesn't much believe in encouragement.
I can't write poetry whatsoever (I'm stuck with prose, lol), so I'm envious of all of you poets- it all sounds gorgeous to me.

And you can do better, Jasper??? At least it wasnt all rage and anger and bitterness. Her's was beautiful and a celebration of life and love; not doom and gloom and dark broodings.
Write on, Cand.

Oh wonderful Word, what should we have without you
Our thoughts all a bottled, stoppered, and closed except for you
My deepest emotions to share with others through you...
And yet...and yet, are you faithful I ask, are you true
Nay I fear to believe that you reveal the all
I tremble to say that you are so weak, so crude
But I challenge you oh Word, to do your best with might
Describe the color blue to a man with no sight
And the greatest feat of all would be
To explain and tell, if you can, of Love to me
Nay do not attempt to repeat the sounds of romance
Nor the guttural rasping of sweet sentimentality
But tell me of the soaring flight of love
Of the heights known only to those who have flown
Tell me, if you can, of things known only through words unspoken and unheard...
Just my own little use of "word" to express how wonderful they are...and yet at the same time so inadequate and weak...

Pairing As One
A drape of cobalt night muting the sun’s ray
Two souls converge on the edge of dawn
Two spirits embrace at the burst of first light
Their radiance sparkles across the dew drops
The morning star winks knowingly
Holding these unadorned lovers in her arms
Baroque pearls spill across the heavens
Juxtaposed with echoes of whispered breath
Their naked, trembling bodies entwined
Intoxicating scents fogging with desires
Their intimacy fills their beings
Binding them from this moment forward
As day fades to evening and to day again
Lovers forever sharing indivisible golden threads

Golden threads sight unseen
Forever knitting invisible spirits it seems
Bound and forged a single being become
Sharing words unspoken...words of Love
Lone sojourners join now as one
Traveling together beyond the Suns
Forever now, for eternity has come
And the golden thread is Love...
Hope you don't mind my small contribution to your beautiful "words"
