chat room

ok folks, once again i've not been able to get into the chat room.. this has been a problem for about a week..

things start loading, i get to the spinning sunflower, and then the big stall .. if anyone has an idea i'm listening.. and yes i've checked my java installation like about 4 scabillion times and it always came back as good

I had many problems when I first joined the site, including restricted access, inability to to post, having to log in every time I changed a page, etc. These mostly came down to the security software I had installed on my computer.
It was explained to me that the site software couldn't install "cookies."
I am something of a technophobe, and only barely understand what I'm doing half the time, but I also think there are cybergremlins whose sole purpose in life is to mess with us.

ok, update.. i rebooted the puter, checked all my security software, and jumped right into the chat room.. as sailor said, sometimes i think there's gremlins floatin around here .. anyways, thanx , and if ya still think ya can help me, well, PM or email me , please,
