I looked around to see if 'intro threads' went some place, but I didn't spot it. Anyway newbie here. I got heads up about this forum from a guy at JUB, which is mostly a gay forum. It seemed the very tiny corner for bisexuals guys was a favorite place for bitter gay men to come in and rant that we all needed to give up and admit we were all really homosexual. After a few of those visits, I kinda thought it was time to look for 'greener pastures'!

Welcome 2 crazy corner hun. You will find all types here and we have our share of the embittered but not 2 much.. mostly we are loving and welcoming and are prepared to help where we can and also have a bloody good laugh!!

I dont know why so many of the gay community think as they do regarding us, but thankfully not all are are such clowns! My flatmate is a confirmed lesbian and wont touch a guy with a 10' bargepole when it comes to sex. But what she is really good at is listening to and understanding all the multifarious sexualities which exist and is as accepting and loving to her str8 and bi friends as I could wish. She accepts me as I am and though I havent known her long I am grateful for it. As outsiders from mainstream society we should be working together not sniping at each other which does none of us any good. The fact is we are sexual animals, and as such so long as we care for each other and do no harm whats does it matter who we sleep with?

Welcome to the site---even though we do have our share of pissy, bitchy posters from time to time-this is still a pretty good place.

It is too bad that so many gays seem to want to diss those of us who identify as bi---they almost seem to have more problem with bisexuality than do hardcore straights---

I think for some gays--they have staked and invested so much of themselves as a political/ideological position that the notion of bisexuality seems to be some sort of a threat to them--I think that is wrong and politically is short-sighted----they should stand in unity with anyone--gay, straight or whatvever who dares to challenge society's status quo position that only being straight is the good and proper way to be.

The previous posters contributing to this new thread are right. You do find those occasional trolls and bitter souls that can't seem to just let bygones be bygones. But, thankfully, in the end, all are still playing in the same sand box and having a good old time.

Hey Peccator, I'm new too, joined a few days ago...I'm having fun here, and I havn't found any haters yet ;) so welcome.

As for gay people who don't respect other's sexual identies...they're just as bad as their biggotted, hetersexual counterparts. But knowing that it stems from the pain of being discriminated against makes it a little more understandable...it just sucks that none of us can catch a break--gay, bi, trans, whatever the fuck--I don't get why everybody's always raining on everyone elses parade.
