Merry Crimbo repros..hope the eve went well, the day brill and boxing day is going swimmingly!!! It's bloody cold and mizzy outside but the log fire burns bright, the heating is brill as there are radiators through the cottage so it's cosy for us all. The huge increases in energy costs over the holidays cos of wars, capitalism and bastard Tories (and international like minds) will have to be endured for now.. Stay safe, stay warm and have a rare ole time until after the New Year.. Forever hopefully, if it's possible. Be happy.. Don't let the getts grindya down! The weather has been bad for much of Canada.New York state in the US has been hit hard with snow. Snow storms and train wrecks made reaching their destination difficult for some. I have been fortunate as the snow did not over whelm my neighbour hood. This was to be the first time that street sidewalks on front of houses would be cleaned by the city!! Be safe people! Be warm!

I was busy over Christmas Eve and morning with church gigs, then the dinner prep. All was complicated by two new-to-me kitties becoming part of the household. I had no intention of adding to the clowder of two, but a wee girl turned up on our front porch hungry a couple of days and I posted pics of her on a local lost and found pet page. It turned out she was half of a bonded pair, both being in and out at a couple of houses down the street who couldn't take them in. So I had them brought together at my place. They got along with my young fellow Theo so they've found a new home here. Merry Christmas present, entirely unexpected

I'll need to drag out the kilt and fittings in a bit. The only NYE I've worn anything else in years have been when going to a couple of disco parties at a theatre around the corner and they stopped those a couple of years back. Those were great evenings and one could crawl home if need be! This will be one of the quieter ones... have a fantastic 2023!
